Remote control

This is no ordinary wall switch. Insteon wall switches can be controlled remotely from almost any device in your home: sensors that monitor doors, windows, leaks and more, remote controls, keypads and other wall switches throughout your home, even your smartphone when turned on. One of the most powerful features of Insteon switches, scenes allow you to control multiple devices simultaneously with a single touch. Illuminate all the lights in an entire room with one touch and hold or create infinite virtual multi-direction switches.

Customizable

Adjustable ramp speeds and ramp levels can be set for dimmers, while the LED indicators for all Insteon wall switches can be adjusted so they don't shine too bright at night. The switches can also be linked together, allowing you to create virtual 3-way circuits wherever you want.

Schedules

Automatically turn on your porch lights at dusk. Wake up to a gentle pseudo-dawn at 7AM. You can program individual wall switches or entire groups of switches for particular times and days of the week.

Ramp rate and at level

With a custom ramp rate, you can set how fast (or slow) the lights brighten and dim, anywhere from 8 to 8 minutes. With On Level, you can also specify how bright your lights are when you tap the paddle, from 1% to 100%.

The scenes

With the Insteon Hub, scenes really take on a new level. Program a switch to turn off all the downstairs lights. Set another to activate movie mode. And because you can schedule scenes, you can give your home the "live in" look even when you're away.

The 3-way infinity

With traditional wall switches, control from multiple locations, such as in a long hallway, requires special dedicated wiring. Great if you're building new, but almost impossible to retrofit. With Insteon, each wall switch can control all other wall switches, without the need for additional cables. Just a few touches of the adjustment button and you have made a 3-way switch. Do you want to add another one? Make it 4 or 5 way. There is no limit to Insteon's multi-way switching.

Switch anywhere

Sometimes you have to wonder what the electrician was thinking when he wired your house. The light switches are at the wrong end of the room, behind the doors, in just the wrong places. With an Insteon wall switch and a mini remote control, you can place a wall switch anywhere you want. Mount one on the wall next to your nightstand. Give one to your kids and let them investigate the monsters under their bed.
