Wi-Fi connectivity

Dual band Wi-Fi compatible with 802.11a/b/g/n networks (2.4 and 5 GHz). It does not support ad hoc (peer-to-peer) Wi-Fi networks.

Bluetooth connectivity

Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) for streaming audio from your mobile device to the Echo Dot or from the Echo Dot to your Bluetooth speaker. Audio and Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) for voice control of connected mobile devices. Voice control is not supported on Mac OS X devices. Bluetooth speakers that require a PIN code are not supported.

Sound

Built-in speakers for voice responses when no external speaker is connected. 3.5mm audio output for use with external speakers (audio cable not included in the box).

System Requirements

The Echo Dot is delivered ready for you to connect to the Wi-Fi network. The Alexa app is compatible with Fire OS, Android and iOS devices. It is also available through your computer's web browser. Certain services and Skills are subject to change and may not be available in all regions and may require additional subscriptions or fees.

The Echo Dot (3rd generation) is sold with a one-year limited warranty provided by the manufacturer. This limited warranty is complementary to your rights as a consumer and does not prejudice them.
