He Bose L1 Compact Audio audio system It delivers the audio fidelity you've come to expect from Bose in a sleek, lightweight, and portable unit that's ideal for traveling musicians, presenters, mobile DJs, and for conferences, worship, etc.
The L1 features a 2-channel mixer amplifier that also serves as the speaker base. The mixer features an XLR microphone input, RCA line input, 1/8" mini line input, and 1/4" phone input that can be switched to accept line or instrument signals.
Six small drivers are carefully placed in the compact speaker to ensure a balanced audio signal on the direct and off-axis (sides) of the L1. Setting up the L1 is quick and easy; Simply place the speaker extensions on the base of the amplifier and slide the speaker onto the extensions. Two extensions are included, and allow for easy height adjustment.
- Spatial Dispersion Speaker Technology
- Six small drivers mounted at precise angles within a slim, upright housing. This patented Bose technology offers almost 180 degrees of horizontal sound coverage. The sound remains constant even on the extreme sides of the system.
- Integrated mixer
- The power/mixer stand provides an XLR microphone input on channel 1; Channel 2 has an instrument input, a stereo RCA input, and a 1/8" stereo input. Both channels have two-stage clip lights, volume controls, and a custom ToneMatch preset. The rear panel has a 1/4" balanced line and an RCA stereo output.
- Integrated power amplifier
- The power stand/mixer offers clean, precise amplification for the L1's compact speaker and bass cabinet.
- PA and monitors combine
- Bose's patented technology allows the system to be placed directly behind or to the side of a performer, eliminating the need for separate PA speakers, stage monitors and mixers.
- Proprietary ToneMatch presets
- ToneMatch presets optimize the L1 Compact system for a dynamic handheld microphone (channel 1) or acoustic guitar (channel 2).
- Two unique configuration positions
- With extended (78.5") and collapsed (16.5") positioning, you can tailor the system's sound coverage to the room or event. For larger audiences, use the included speaker extensions to raise the array. For smaller meetings and gatherings, leave the array in its slot on the power supply and place the system on a table.
- Durable, lightweight, interlocking components
- The lightweight interlocking design makes the L1 very easy to transport, set up and break down. The power stand weighs only 25 pounds, and the total system with speaker and extensions weighs 29 pounds. No speaker cables, stands or bass modules required. The entire system can be set up in a minute or less.
