Discrete high-current power amplifiers on all 7 channels deliver stunning power and clarity, and deliver immersive 3D surround sound thanks to Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoders, but at just over 3 inches tall, it's Thin enough to slide into any TV cabinet. It fully supports the latest HDMI and HDCP 2.2 specifications on all 8 HDMI inputs, and will switch to the latest video formats: 4K 60Hz, 4:4:4 pure color downsampling, BT.2020, HDR and Dolby Vision: from players from Blu-ray, set-top boxes, game consoles and 4K Ultra HD content streamed/downloaded to an Ultra HD TV or projector. For HDR streaming content in the future, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) passthrough will also be supported via a firmware update. Bluetooth and AirPlay can stream music directly from portable devices, while HEOS's multi-room music integration allows the NR1608 to become part of a complete whole-home music system. Explore and play your own music library, online music services, and thousands of Internet radio stations, using the free HEOS app. The “Marantz 2016 AVR Remote” app is also available for free on the Apple App Store, GooglePlay and Amazon App Store. |
