Enjoy wireless audio streaming and multi-channel object-based audio with the Onkyo TX-NR585 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver . The receiver has support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for object-based audio support. Delivers up to 80 watts per channel at 8 ohms for robust audio reproduction. Built-in AirPlay and Bluetooth connectivity let you wirelessly stream music from compatible audio sources such as computers, MP3 players, smartphones, and tablets. Onboard Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity give you the ability to stream music from Internet radio sources.

The Onkyo TX-NR585 has six HDMI inputs for interconnecting audio and video sources, including support for HDR UHD video sources. There is also a USB port on the rear panel for connecting a USB drive. The free Onkyo Controller app will allow you to control your receiver from a smartphone or tablet. Built-in high-resolution audio support lets you take advantage of dynamic surround sound formats like DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD.

Supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X Playback

Object-based sound tracks allow a mixed sound to be played independently through any speaker in the system. The effects move around you as they do in real life, so you experience the 5.2.2-channel Dolby Atmos or DTS:X formats, as the director intended. DTS Neural: X is designed to identify spatial effects in multichannel sound tracks and mix them for 3D playback, while DTS: Dolby Surround is also included to premix legacy multichannel formats for playback in a Dolby Atmos-enabled environment.

Chromecast built-in with Google Assistant

Stream almost any music from your compatible smartphone or computer to the receiver and control playback with Chromecast-enabled apps from your iOS or Android phone or tablet, your Mac or Windows laptop, or your Chromebook. If you have a smart device with Google Assistant, you can prompt and control music on the receiver with just your voice.

Zone 2 and zone 2 line outputs actuated

The Zone 2 speaker outputs let you send amplified network, S/PDIF, or analog audio sources to a pair of speakers in another room. The line outputs can connect your home theater sources to a separate hi-fi system. Control playback using the Onkyo Controller app.

Wi-Fi, AirPlay and Bluetooth wireless connectivity

Built-in 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi helps ensure stable connectivity so you can enjoy smooth streaming, connection to the Onkyo Controller app, and multi-room audio, while Bluetooth wireless technology is integrated for easy mobile device or laptop connection. FlareConnect shares network audio and external audio input sources between compatible components. Enjoy multi-room playback of records, CDs, network music services and more with compatible components and speaker systems. Music selection, speaker grouping, and whole-home playback management are all built into the Onkyo Controller app.
